Job summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation in Nacogdoches, TX, is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to treat residents and short-term patients at Stallings Court Nursing and Rehabilitation facility. The role requires a Texas COTA license and strong communication skills.

The COTA will develop and implement a care plan, provide skilled therapies, document progress, and ensure compliant billing and infection control in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Texas license/certification for COTA.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services in accordance with physician’s orders and accepted professional practices.
• Develops an overall plan of care with treatment goals, frequency, and discharge plan.
• Performs skilled treatments according to the established plan of care.
• Documents observations and patient progress within required timeframes.
• Completes documentation and billing in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintains rehab gym equipment and treatment area with infection control.
