Fairfield Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg team. CNAs play an essential role in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care by supporting patients with daily needs, promoting comfort, and helping maintain a therapeutic environment. Working under the supervision of a RN or LPN, the CNA contributes to effective care delivery through timely communication, accurate documentation, and attentive observation of patient condition. The CNA provides direct and supportive care to patients on the Med/Surg Unit under the supervision of an RN or LPN. This role assists patients with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and comfort measures while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. The CNA contributes to accurate documentation, timely communication, and high-quality patient care by observing and reporting changes in patient condition. This position plays an essential role in supporting the nursing team and ensuring an exceptional patient experience consistent with FMH’s mission and standards of care.
