Job Description

Fairfield Senior Living & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our healthcare team. Our CNAs play an essential role in providing quality, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, comfort, independence, and overall well-being.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Provide compassionate personal care while maintaining resident dignity, privacy, and independence.
• Assist residents with transferring, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions to nursing staff.
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs, intake and output, and other assigned care information.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs in a timely manner.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Follow individualized resident care plans, infection control procedures, and facility policies.
• Assist with fall prevention and resident safety measures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Promote positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Perform additional resident care duties as assigned by licensed nursing staff within the CNA scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and active status on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry.
• Must meet applicable Illinois healthcare worker background check requirements.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
