Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in Illinois to provide direct resident care in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings. The role involves assisting with daily activities, meals, mobility, and light housekeeping under nurse supervision, ensuring residents’ comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a state-approved Nursing Assistant program, a high school diploma, and be listed on the state registry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the state's Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the nurse manager or supervising staff.
• Provides direct care to residents daily.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry and dining services.
• Assists residents with personal care per procedures and daily assignments.
• Bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding and transfers.
• Maintain clean, orderly resident rooms and handle linen and clothing.
• Assist with resident laundry and notify supervisor of needs.
• Prepare and assist with meals and feeding when required.
• May be cross trained in Assisted Living.
