Job summary

PT Solutions is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The COTA assists in developing ADLs, ROM, balance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, supporting rehabilitative activities, building patient relationships, and collaborating with clinicians and the community to help patients achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate PTA from APTA/CAPTE approved program.
• Active state licensure.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
• Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the community
