Job summary

AllStar Therapies is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. The role focuses on helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include delivering OT treatments under supervision, documenting progress, educating patients and caregivers, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes while maintaining

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while working collaboratively with the therapy team.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving activities of daily living, functional mobility, and overall independence.
• Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to achieve the best patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company policies and regulations.
