Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health is seeking a PRN Behavior Specialist to support CBT-based interventions across Rogers programs in the Iowa region. You will work with a clinical leader to design and implement treatment plans, deliver CBT services, and participate in team-based care.

Responsibilities include supervising sessions, adjusting care plans, documenting outcomes, and training other staff to support CBT delivery. CPR and NCI training are required within set timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Must hold SAC-in-Training credential or state equivalent for Addiction Recovery.
• Relevant CBT experience (12 months preferred).
• Residential programs may require license and RCC/CBRF training.
• CPR certification within 30 days; NCI training within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide CBT and other therapeutic services including groups under supervision.
• Participate in supervision sessions and adjust care plans based on progress.
• Monitor intervention effectiveness and modify as needed.
• Document services per regulations and payer expectations.
• Ensure timely documentation of plans, outcomes, and psychosocial data.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
• Train direct care staff and caregivers in CBT interventions.
