Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health, Inc. seeks a Behavior Specialist to support CBT interventions across treatment programs.

You will assess behaviors, develop individualized plans, train patients and families, and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to monitor progress and adjust plans for best outcomes. The role involves delivering CBT-based services under supervision, contributing to treatment planning, and providing education to staff and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field is required.
• Must hold a valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent).
• CBT experience of 12 months preferred.
• For Residential programs – must hold a current and active driver’s license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups to patients under supervision.
• Participate in supervision with the Clinical leader and adjust care plans based on progress.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and modify as needed in consultation with the Clinical leader.
• Document mental health services in the medical record in a timely and compliant manner.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and staff trainings.
• Provide training and education to patients, families, and support persons on CBT interventions.

Education
