Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support CBT-based interventions in treatment programs. You will assess behavior functions, develop individualized plans, train patients and supporters, and monitor progress with the Clinical leader.

The role emphasizes collaboration within an interdisciplinary team and ongoing documentation. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree and a Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential, plus CBT experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent).
• CBT experience (12 months preferred).
• Relevant clinical care or human services experience may apply.
• Residential program drivers license (preferred).
• On-the-job RCC/CBRF training completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral therapy and other group services per clinical standards.
• Participate in supervision with Clinical leader and adjust care plans as needed.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Document mental health services per regulations and payer expectations.
• Ensure timely completion of treatment plans and related data.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist in plan development.
• Train and support staff and family members in CBT interventions.
• Provide patient safety and adapt staffing as needed.
