Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients as needed.
• Good understanding of radiation safety and image quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures with accuracy and safety for diagnosis.
• Enters and monitors patient data for imaging exams.
• Manages imaging equipment quality assurance and supports accreditation efforts.
• Identifies and reports equipment malfunctions or accidents to management.
• Responds to emergencies and provides safe care per Memorial Hermann policies.
• Mentors less experienced staff and supports department goals.
