Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic exams and assist physicians during invasive procedures. The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and active licensure, with ability to lift and reposition patients as part of routine duties.

The schedule includes 1 shift per week, 10 hours, starting at 7am or 8am. Candidates must hold MRT license in Texas, ARRT-R registration, and BLS/ALS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients.

Responsibilities

• Performs special/invasive radiology procedures; prepares patients, explains procedures, positions patients, selects imaging techniques, and ensures image quality.
• Enters and monitors patient data.
• Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment and may assist with accreditation processes.
• Identifies and reports accidents, complaints or device malfunctions to management.
• Takes emergency call within the department.
• Ensures safe care following Memorial Hermann policies within budget and time constraints.
• Mentors less experienced staff and pursues ongoing education and skills competency.
• Models compassionate, personalized care and service standards.
