Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Texas seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform specialized radiology procedures, prepare patients, and assist physicians during invasive procedures. You will ensure imaging quality and safety.

Education: graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; Licenses: BLS, Texas MRT license (MRT), ARRT-R; Schedule: 1 shift per week, 10 hours, starting at 7am or 8am. Physical ability to lift patients and work with team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients.
• Current licenses/certifications: BLS and MRT licensure in Texas; ARRT-R registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs special/invasive radiology procedures in accordance with radiation safety guidelines.
• Prepares patients for exams, explains procedures, and positions patients for imaging.
• Ensures technical quality of images and documentation of patient data.
• Monitors equipment and may assist with accreditation processes.
• Responds to emergencies and adheres to department policies and budgetary guidelines.
• Acts as a resource and mentor to less experienced staff.
