Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) is required.
• Registered Radiology Technologist by ARRT-R.

Responsibilities

• Performs special/invasive radiology procedures following radiation safety rules.
• Prepares patients, explains procedures, administers contrast when needed, and positions patients.
• Selects imaging techniques and ensures image quality.
• Enters and monitors patient data.
• Maintains QA on radiology equipment and supports accreditation efforts.
• Identifies and reports accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to management.
• Occasionally takes emergency call within the department.
• Adheres to policy, time management, supply management, and productivity standards.
• Supports professional growth, mentoring, and department goals.
• Demonstrates compassionate, safe, and personalized patient experiences.
