Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic procedures and assist physicians during invasive radiological procedures. The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and active licenses/certifications as listed.

1 shift per week, 10 hours, with start times at 7am or 8am. On-site position in Texas, requiring BLS, MRT license, and ARRT-R registration. There is a focus on safety, quality and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
• Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures with attention to radiation safety and image quality.
• Positions patients, administers contrast when necessary, and explains procedures.
• Enters and monitors patient data; ensures equipment is functioning and maintained.
• Takes emergency call within the department and adheres to policies, time management, and budgetary constraints.
• Mentors and supports staff development and ensures compassionate patient care.
