Lakeview Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a PRN Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. This role supports day-to-day patient care under established policies, conducts safety checks, escorts patients to activities and medications times, and helps maintain the Bradford Program Schedule.

Qualifications include an undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science or CRC/CRSS preferred, 1 year of alcohol/drug treatment experience with direct patient contact, valid driver's license, and CPR

Formación

• Undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science, CRC, or CRSS preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate basic understanding of chemical dependency recovery.
• Maintain records and have good communication skills.
• Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in luggage and body searches.
• Monitor and facilitate Book Studies and Recovery meetings.
• Document hourly checks and patient locations.
• Ensure patients follow the Bradford Program Schedule and are on time for assignments.
• Supervise patient activities and assist with evening room checks.
• Oversee med line to prevent diversion and de-escalate situations.
• Assist patients to and from activities, medications, and meals when needed.
• Support the counselor with documentation and policy adherence.
• Attend staff trainings and support nurse directives.
