Job summary

Lakeview Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a PRN Behavioral Health Technician to support daily operations and patient care within a treatment setting. You will interact with patients under established policies, help monitor activities, and assist staff including counseling and documentation as needed.

Qualifications include an undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science or related field preferred, plus valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and ability to walk long distances on site.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science, CRC, or CRSS preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate understanding of chemical dependency recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in luggage and body searches.
• Monitor and facilitate Book Studies and Recovery meetings.
• Document hourly checks and ensure patients follow schedules.
• Assist patients to and from activities, medication times, and meals.
• Support nursing staff and counselors as directed.
