Job summary

Lakeview Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support daily treatment operations. You will interact with patients, assist in activities, monitor patient safety, and support care teams in accordance with Bradford Health Services procedures.

The role requires a relevant undergraduate degree (CRC/CRSS preferred), driving capability, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced rehab environment. Compensation is $16–$18 per hour with full-time shifts and benefits.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science, CRC, or CRSS preferred.
One year experience in alcohol/drug treatment with direct patient contact preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively and understand chemical dependency recovery principles.
Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

Assist with patient orientation and adherence to treatment policies.
Monitor patients and document hourly checks.
Supervise patient activities and assist with meals, medication times, and transport.
Drive patients to appointments and activities as directed.
Assist nurses and counselors as directed by supervisor.
Attend staff training and programs as directed.
