Job summary

Lakeview Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Night Behavioral Health Technician to support patient care in the addiction treatment setting. The role requires vigilance, documentation, and collaboration with counselors to maintain safety and adherence to the Bradford Program Schedule.

The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science or related certification, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license for transporting patients as needed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science or CRC/CRSS preferred.
• One year experience in alcohol/drug treatment with direct patient contact preferred.
• Communicate effectively and maintain clear documentation.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR certification and ability to respond in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in luggage and body searches as required.
• Monitor and sometimes facilitate Book Studies and Recovery meetings.
• Document hourly checks and track patient locations.
• Ensure adherence to Bradford Program Schedule and assignments.
• Supervise and facilitate patient activities as directed.
• Assist patients to and from activities, meals, and medication times.
