Job summary

Lakeview Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Night Behavioral Health Technician to join our clinical team. This full-time role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring safety, and supporting treatment activities within a structured program.

Responsibilities include supervising patients, facilitating meetings, logging hourly checks, and assisting with activities, meals, and transport as needed. CPR certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science, CRC, or CRSS preferred; one year experience in alcohol/drug treatment with direct patient contact preferred.
• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate a basic understanding of chemical dependency recovery.
• Maintain records and have good communication skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in luggage and body searches.
• Monitor and facilitate Book Studies and Recovery meetings.
• Document hourly checks and note patient locations.
• Ensure adherence to Bradford Program Schedule and assignments.
• Supervise patient activities and assist evening routines.
