Job summary

Logan Health Behavioral Health in Kalispell, MT is seeking a compassionate PRN Registered Nurse to join our team. You will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, administer medications, and support patient recovery in a 40-bed inpatient setting.

Requirements include Montana RN license or compact, CPR/BLS certification, and RQI within 7 days. Prior psychiatric experience and BSN preferred; shifts are variable as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with Montana authorization.
• Healthcare Provider CPR and/or BLS certification required; RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Psychiatric Care – conduct assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with teams.
• Medication Management – administer and monitor prescribed medications and educate patients.
• Safety Monitoring & Compliance – perform safety checks and document observations per protocols.
• Program Facilitation & Patient Education – lead therapeutic programs and educate patients on coping strategies.
• Crisis Intervention & De-escalation – respond to incidents and ensure safety.
• Regulatory & Documentation Standards – maintain accurate records and stay updated on best practices.
