Job summary

Logan Health is seeking an Outpatient RN (PRN) for on-site coverage in Chester, Montana. The role supports primary care with nursing assessments, care planning and coordination of treatments. PRN schedule offers flexible shifts to match patient and clinic needs.

The candidate brings an active Montana RN license (or multi-state compact) and at least two years in a medical setting. BSN preferred; strong teamwork and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with MT authorization.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ RN experience in a similar position within a medical setting (e.g. physician office, clinic, or hospital) required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and coordinates individualized, goal directed nursing care to patients through the use of the nursing process as appropriate for RN’s as applicable to the assigned area(s).
• Transcribes and implements provider orders and treatments both verbal and written accurately and efficiently as noted by chart reviews and observation.
• Performs clinical testing using a variety of automated and non-automated techniques; collects, packages, and labels specimens per protocol.
• Provides patient and family instruction via telephone triage and/or patient visit.
• Coordinates care and follow-up for lab work, transfusions, and/or infusions in patient’s preferred community locations.
• Oversees and directs the care provided by assistive personnel under the direction of the provider(s).
