Job summary

Logan Health in Kalispell, Montana, is seeking an RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide nurse-led, goal-directed care for high-acuity adult patients. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maintain safety and quality while educating patients and families.

This on-site full-time role includes night shifts; Montana licensed RNs or multi-state compact holders are eligible. BSN preferred, with 2+ years of experience and required certifications within stated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Montana RN license required or multi-state compact license.
• Minimum of two years’ nursing experience.
• RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire.
• NIHSS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide goal-directed, individualized nursing care using clinical knowledge and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to manage patient care, ensuring safety and quality.
• Educate patients and families, serving as a vital link between them and the care team.
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio for high-acuity care.
