Job summary

Vettx Inc. in Illinois is seeking an Automotive BDC / Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to help dealer partners acquire inventory from private sellers.

This in-store, Monday-Friday role focuses on outreach, follow-up, and appointment setting using our proprietary platform. You will contact private sellers, gather vehicle information (VIN, mileage, ownership), schedule in-store appraisal appointments, and track progress in the VETTX system.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable with phone-based sales and high-volume outreach
• Experience in BDC, internet sales, automotive sales, or SaaS sales preferred
• Organized and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously
• Goal-oriented, motivated, and performance-driven
• CRM or sales platform experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Contact private vehicle sellers through phone, text, and online messaging
• Work leads from Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, AutoTrader, and similar platforms
• Collect key vehicle information, including VIN, mileage, condition, and ownership details
• Build rapport quickly and handle objections professionally
• Coordinate with dealership management on pricing direction
• Follow up consistently to convert leads into appointments
• Track activity, notes, and lead status in the VETTX platform
• Meet daily and monthly outreach and appointment goals
