Green Key Resources is seeking a private equity analyst with 1–3 years since college to join a transaction-focused team. You will support secondary and co-investment processes, coordinate closings, and work closely with investment, finance and legal teams.
The role sits at the intersection of investment execution, fund operations, and portfolio reporting, reporting to a Partner. Five-days-in-office is required as the team collaborates across functions.
This is a great opportunity for a 1-3 year analyst who wants to get into private equity from an operations, fund administration, audit, or investment-operations background. Unlike a traditional back-office role, you'll work directly across the investment lifecycle - supporting secondary and co-investment transactions, closings, portfolio management, valuation and reporting. You'll also work closely with the investment, finance and legal teams and report directly to a Partner.
The person supports the full lifecycle of secondary PE and co-investment transactions - from execution and closing through portfolio monitoring, valuation, reporting, and ongoing operational work.
The key distinction is that this is not just fund accounting or reconciliation. The analyst sits at the intersection of:
They report directly to a Partner, which is notable for a 1-3 year candidate.
The target candidate is pretty clearly 1-3 years out of college with experience in one of several feeder backgrounds:
They want someone strong in Excel, highly detail-oriented and capable of juggling multiple workstreams.
The ideal candidate, however, would already understand PE mechanics - fund structures, partnership interests, capital calls, distributions and NAV reporting. Secondary/co-investment exposure is specifically called out as desirable.
The biggest selling point is breadth.
Someone coming from a pure fund-admin or accounting role could use this position to get much closer to the actual investment process. They'll see transactions, work with investment professionals, understand how secondary deals close, and then follow those investments through valuation and portfolio management.
Five-days-in-office requirement. The firm is roughly 30 people, operates in an open-floor environment, and explicitly emphasizes cross-functional interaction.
