Job summary

Ice Miller LLP seeks a Mid-Level associate to join our private equity practice group in New York or Philadelphia. Ideal candidates will have three (3) to five (5) years of experience.

Successful candidates will work with middle-market private equity funds, independent sponsors, and family offices on leveraged buyouts and sell-side M&A with family-owned businesses. You will gain hands-on experience as the responsible attorney, collaborating across offices and practice groups.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience practicing law in private equity/M&A settings.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and client service orientation.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team, with solid professional references.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the responsible attorney on M&A transactions from start to finish.
• Collaborate across practice groups and offices to leverage AM Law 200 resources.
• Benefit from structured training and increasing responsibility to match development.
• Participate in business development and client relationship growth.
