Job summary

Ice Miller LLP seeks a Mid-Level associate to join our private equity practice group in New York or Philadelphia. You will work on middle-market private equity funds, independent sponsors, and family offices in leveraged buyouts and with family-owned businesses, serving as a key attorney on M&A matters from start to finish.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• At least three (3) years of experience practicing law in a law firm and/or in-house environment
• Active law license in New York or Pennsylvania
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and business judgement
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key team member and hands-on attorney on M&A transactions from start to finish
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across practice groups and offices
• Benefit from the AM Law 200 firm resources while contributing to a small-office culture
