Ice Miller seeks a Mid-Level associate to join our M&A and private equity practice group in Indianapolis. Ideal candidates will have three to five years of experience, and will work as a key team member on leveraged buyouts and sell-side M&A transactions.

Successful candidates will guide clients through complex deals, collaborate with colleagues, and benefit from a supportive culture with growth opportunities and structured training within a well-resourced AM Law 200 firm.

Qualifikationen

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong credentials.
• At least three years of experience practicing law in a law firm and/or in-house environment.
• Active law license in Indiana.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and business judgement.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the responsible attorney on M&A transactions from start to finish.
• Advise middle-market private equity funds, independent sponsors, and family offices on leveraged buyouts.
• Assist family-owned businesses and entrepreneurs on sell-side M&A matters.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and offices to leverage AM Law 200 resources while maintaining a collegial culture.
• Support growth through participation in business development and professional development.
