Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Forward Deployed Finance Engineer for the private credit team. You will translate investment work into firm solutions, lead live pilots, and design screening and underwriting workflows alongside AEs and credit committees.

You will travel 2–3+ times per month (1–3 days each), shaping the credit product while driving automation and AI adoption within live deals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years on the investment or underwriting team with live deal work (screening, underwriting, diligence, modeling, structuring, and credit materials).
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling; comfort with prompting and agentic AI workflows; ability to turn repetitive tasks into automated processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead pilots on live opportunities with lenders; guide AI-enabled screening and underwriting workflows.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and credit teams; build credit committee materials and SOPs.
• Contribute to product roadmap by feeding credit-team feedback into the platform.
