Job summary

San Vicente Clubs in West Hollywood, CA seeks a friendly Server Assistant to greet guests and provide exceptional service in our food and beverage outlets. You will deliver orders, answer menu questions, up-sell, and ensure guest satisfaction during each shift.

The role requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays, with POS experience and basic arithmetic; ServSafe and TIPs certification preferred. Competitive hourly pay plus tips and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and team.
• Must follow directions with attention to detail.
• Experience in hospitality or fine dining is preferred.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food and beverage orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answers all questions regarding the menus accurately.
• Utilizes selling techniques to upsell.
• Acknowledge and anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.
• Process guest payment using the POS system; verify in-house status.
• Inform manager of any guest complaints or problems.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Coordinate with previous/coming shifts on outstanding tables.
• Report damages or equipment issues to management.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures; handle silverware and serveware properly.
