Haley Wexler Private Chef in NYC is seeking an experienced private cook to join our team and prepare weekly meals in client homes.

You will cook a set menu of 3 to 5 dishes per household, accommodate allergies and preferences, package and label provisions, and leave kitchens cleaner than you found them.

This contract position offers a flexible schedule of 1 to 4 days per week (Mondays required) with pay ranging from $45.00 to $60.00 per hour, depending on experience and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Experienced private cook for client homes
• Ability to cook 3–5 dishes per household
• Knowledge of handling allergies and dietary restrictions

Responsibilities

• Cook 3 to 5 complete dishes per client, from proteins to sides to sauces
• Follow each client's allergies, restrictions and preferences
• Package, label and store food properly for the week ahead
• Leave every kitchen cleaner than you found it
• Communicate clearly about timing, substitutions and anything that comes up
