Job summary

NC Department of Adult Correction is seeking a supervisory food service leader at Greene Correctional Institution to ensure safe, healthy meals are prepared for inmates. You will supervise officers, manage presentation and sanitation, and coordinate training while operating within budget and policy guidelines.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to handle emergencies, and meticulous adherence to nutrition & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Supervise food service officers and maintain meal presentation for inmates.
• Communicate verbally and in writing; follow written instructions.
• Work varied schedules and respond to emergencies.
• Understand food nutritional values and maintain sanitary handling practices.
• Inventory, rotate stock, and requisition food within budget.
