Job summary

Pomeroy is seeking an on-site IT field technician in Bristol, CT to manage MPS incidents, install and stage devices, and support remote post-delivery setup. The role requires hands-on experience with SCCM, AD, Exchange, and printer management in large scale operations.

Responsibilities include documenting work, ticket management, and transporting printer equipment to client sites. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are required for this temporary position.

Job description

• On site (parks, resorts, and Disney buildings) MPS incident resolution for cast members
• Installation of new / replacement devices
  • Preparation and staging of new MPS devices
    • Inc. Configuration, physical setup, testing, labelling etc
• Where applicable, wiping of old devices
• Updating and maintaining documentation
• Ticket management –manage all service level tickets that are assigned to individuals. Update and close tickets
• Post Validation Support – Support the appointments that cast members request for remote support after they receive their new hardware. Calls can include any type of help that the cast member may need from configuring their device, installing software etc
• Lift, carry and transport printer equipment

Skills

• Proven 3-5 years of PC desktop/laptop field deployment work with large scale operations
• Proven 3-5 years of Print Management
  • HP experience and certification is a plus
• 3-5 years hands on experience with SCCM, TCP/IP protocols, Active Directory, and Exchange
• 3-5 years hands on experience with Win 7, Win 10 and MAC OS
• Experience with Ticket monitoring systems (Service Now)
• Knowledge and experience of InTune
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products (word, excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong customer service skills (in-person and written)
• Effective communication skills (in-person and written)
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
