Job summary

Forward Air Corporation is seeking an IT Support Specialist in Columbus, OH to provide onsite and remote assistance for hardware, software, and peripherals. You will deploy, configure, and replace laptops, desktops, and mobile devices, and support printers, scanners, and other office technology.

You’ll help with user onboarding, equipment setup, and account requests, plus perform basic network troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to senior staff.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of IT support, technical, or customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, and printers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to learn new technologies and work independently.
• Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ are a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work under desks, in wiring closets, and around IT equipment as needed.
