Job summary

swissQprint America seeks a Service Technician to install and maintain UV‑flatbed and roll‑to‑roll printers. Based in West Dundee, IL, you will travel across the U.S. (40–75%) and coordinate with our Elgin and Swiss teams to ensure top‑tier service.

You will handle hotline support, refurbish trade‑ins at our Elgin office, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Profound mechanical and electrical background.
• Experience in installing and servicing printers is preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills; ability to deal effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Installation and service (repairing and maintaining) of our UV-flatbed and roll-to-roll printers in the U.S. (travel time may range from 40% to 75%).
• Organizing travel arrangements to customers.
• Providing hotline support when not traveling via phone, email, or Team viewer.
• Refurbishing trade in machines at our Elgin office.
• Maintaining demo printers in our Elgin office.
• Working with 2nd level support and engineering in Switzerland to improve our printers.
