Job summary

Daisy Business Solutions is seeking a Print and Telco Field Service Technician to support on-site service for client devices and office automation equipment. You will perform troubleshooting, firmware updates, and device installations to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires two years of field service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage stock and complete calls within SLA. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Two years of experience in office automation.
• Previous field service experience.
• Hands-on experience with printers and copiers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Good time management skills.
• Experience in backstock management.

Responsibilities

• Service client devices onsite, ensuring optimal performance.
• Perform logical troubleshooting on a wide range of client devices.
• Carry out IT-related troubleshooting and software support, including firmware updates and device installations.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues on Copiers and Printers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimise client failures.
• Complete calls within SLA and maintain quality standards.
• Manage boot stock of toners and spares, submit job sheets, and ensure stock accuracy.
• Conduct monthly stock takes and operate the mobile app (Tech Connect) efficiently.
