Job summary

Secur-Serv is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of hardware at customer sites across industries including banking, education, and manufacturing. You will travel to client locations in company vehicle and install, troubleshoot, and repair printers, servers, PCs, and other equipment.

The role requires 2+ years in field service, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Two or more years related experience and/or training.
• Valid and current state Driver's License.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively under minimal supervision.
• Ability to diagnose equipment operational errors and product failures.
• Good verbal communication skills for interaction with customers.

Responsibilities

• Travels to customer locations via company vehicle to diagnose, repair, and/or replace computer hardware.
• Manages preventative maintenance schedule in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assists other territories and technicians as needed including travel to other metropolitan areas.
• Take ownership of meeting customers’ business needs.
• Coordinates activities and seeks assistance from technical support when appropriate.
• Provides updates, status, and completion information to manager, sales, technical support, call center, and customer.
• Manages parts inventory in accordance with established guidelines.
• Submits required paperwork in a timely, efficient, and complete manner.
• May be asked to train new technicians in an on-the-job manner.
