Job summary

Canon-Business-Process-Services in New York seeks a Copy Operator to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality print/production work, including binding, laminating, and basic copier/printer troubleshooting.

You will handle print requests from multiple sources, maintain logs, monitor supplies, prepare monthly reports, and support a busy print center with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
• Fleet Management, MFD, SFD device knowledge, logistics, workflow.
• Some knowledge of multi-function print equipment including Canon, Ricoh etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Proficient in PowerPoint or other presentation software
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Positive attitude & professional demeanor interacting with all levels of management
• Ability to manage digital inventory database
• Ability to troubleshoot issues creatively and diplomatically
• Strong process management capabilities
• Ability to provide creative recommendations for process improvement

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize and submit print requests according to complexity and urgency; ensure outputs meet instructions.
• Deliver print jobs within established timeframes; maintain logs of work submitted and completed.
• Perform minor maintenance of reproduction equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Take daily meter readings on duplicating machines; monitor print supplies inventory.
• Inform clients of ETA; resolve delays to client satisfaction.
• Open/close the print center and keep the space neat and professional.
• Adjust image quality and manage on-demand print orders; prepare folders/directories.
• Prepare monthly production and volume reports for productivity and billing.
