Job summary

Heidelberg USA is seeking a Press Instructor to educate customers on Manroland sheetfed presses, color management, and related peripherals to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

The role involves training, commissioning support, and ongoing service delivery with high travel within the Central United States. A strong background in press operation and training, plus excellent communication, is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience operating and/or training on Manroland sheetfed presses.
• Willingness to travel 67–100% and reside within the Central United States near a major airport.
• Strong computer skills (Windows, macOS, networking) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and instruction for customers on Manroland sheetfed press equipment and related technologies.
• Support successful commissioning and operator instruction during press installations.
• Train customers on print color management and optimization of makeready processes.
• Perform efficient troubleshooting during print application service calls.
• Communicate professionally with customers at all organizational levels regarding press operation, performance, and productivity improvements.
• Stay current with print application training, industry trends, and the latest software innovations.
• Promote training, consulting, software, and performance improvement services to customers.
• Provide support related to consumables and best practices for optimal press performance.
• Assist with onsite productivity evaluations and process improvement initiatives.
