Job summary

Heidelberg USA is seeking a Press Instructor to educate customers on operation of Manroland sheetfed presses and related peripherals to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on training, successful commissioning during installations, and ongoing support with a focus on color management, makeready optimization, and productivity improvements. Travel will be extensive across the Central United States.

Qualifications

• Travel 67% to 100% of the time and reside within the Central United States
• 3–5 years of experience operating and/or training on Manroland sheetfed presses
• Strong knowledge of computers including Windows, macOS, and networking

Responsibilities

• Provide training and instruction for customers on Manroland sheetfed press equipment and related technologies.
• Support successful commissioning and operator instruction during press installations.
• Train customers on print color management and optimization of makeready processes.
• Perform efficient troubleshooting during print application service calls.
• Communicate professionally with customers at all levels regarding press operation, performance, and productivity improvements.
• Stay current with print application training, industry trends, and latest software innovations.
• Promote training, consulting, software, and performance improvement services to customers.
• Provide support related to consumables and best practices for optimal press performance.
• Assist with onsite productivity evaluations and process improvement initiatives.
