Job summary

Heidelberg USA is seeking a Press Instructor to educate customers on Manroland sheetfed presses, color measurement devices, and related peripherals to ensure equipment performs as designed and customers are satisfied.

You will train customers on press operation, color management, and makeready optimization while supporting successful installations and ongoing service. This role requires extensive travel across the Central United States.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience operating and/or training on Manroland sheetfed presses.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and networking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-starter with the ability to resolve complex technical and operational challenges.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to train audiences at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and action items simultaneously.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to use and calibrate job-related testing and measuring equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed service manuals, operating procedures, and training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and instruction for customers on Manroland sheetfed press equipment and related technologies.
• Support successful commissioning and operator instruction during press installations.
• Train customers on print color management and optimization of makeready processes.
• Perform efficient troubleshooting during print application service calls.
• Communicate professionally with customers at all organizational levels regarding press operation, performance, and productivity improvements.
• Stay current with print application training, industry trends, and the latest software innovations.
• Promote training, consulting, software, and performance improvement services to customers.
• Provide support related to consumables and best practices for optimal press performance.
• Assist with onsite productivity evaluations and process improvement initiatives.
