Job summary

Heidelberg USA seeks a Press Instructor to educate customers on Manroland sheetfed presses, color measurement devices, and related peripherals to ensure equipment operates as designed while delivering optimal customer satisfaction.

You will train customers on print color management, support commissioning during installations, and provide proactive service guidance. Travel within the Central United States is required.

Qualifications

• Travel 67%-100%; reside within Central US near a major airport.
• 3 to 5 years of experience operating/training on Manroland sheetfed presses.
• Strong knowledge of computers (Windows, macOS, networking).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use/calibrate testing and measuring equipment.
• Follow detailed service manuals and procedures; familiarity with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and instruction for customers on Manroland sheetfed press equipment and related technologies.
• Support successful commissioning and operator instruction during press installations.
• Train customers on print color management and optimization of makeready processes.
• Perform efficient troubleshooting during print application service calls.
• Communicate professionally with customers at all organizational levels regarding press operation, performance, and productivity improvements.
• Stay current with print application training, industry trends, and the latest software innovations.
• Promote training, consulting, software, and performance improvement services to customers.
• Provide support related to consumables and best practices for optimal press performance.
• Assist with onsite productivity evaluations and process improvement initiatives.
