Heidelberg USA is seeking a Press Instructor to educate customers on the operation of Manroland sheetfed presses, color measurement devices, and related peripherals to ensure equipment operates as designed while delivering optimal customer satisfaction. The Press Instructor must always exhibit professionalism while representing the company and supporting customer success.

The role involves training, commissioning support, color management instruction, and proactive service delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years operating and/or training on Manroland sheetfed presses.
• Strong knowledge of computers (Windows, macOS) and networking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel 67–100% within the Central United States.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed service manuals and training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and instruction for customers on Manroland sheetfed press equipment and related technologies.
• Support successful commissioning and operator instruction during press installations.
• Train customers on print color management and optimization of makeready processes.
• Perform efficient troubleshooting during print application service calls.
• Communicate professionally with customers at all organizational levels regarding press operation, performance, and productivity improvements.
• Stay current with print application training, industry trends, and the latest software innovations.
• Promote training, consulting, software, and performance improvement services to customers.
• Provide support related to consumables and best practices for optimal press performance.
• Assist with onsite productivity evaluations and process improvement initiatives.
