Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring a Print Operator for the Shelbyville, Kentucky facility.

This on-site role operates and adjusts printing equipment, ensuring product flow meets service levels on the 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) with pay at $21.14/hour plus a shift premium to $22.64/hour. You will maintain safety and quality standards, document work, and support continuous improvement initiatives while handling scrap and rework as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Light physical effort required, 5 to 25 pounds.
• Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality.
• Flexibility to work overtime.
• No Final Corrective Action on file.

Responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines and equipment as needed while maintaining proper flow of product to meet service level goals.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates, exemplifying 6S principals.
• Ensure all products meet specifications, maintain quality standards of product following quality assurance on FPI.
• Properly fill out all documentation and labels.
• Properly handle all scrap, rework, and mixed product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
