Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Shelbyville, Kentucky is hiring a Set Up Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:30am). The position offers $22.52/hour plus a $1.50 shift premium, totaling $24.02/hour, and is on-site.

You will operate, change over, adjust, and clean machines, maintain safety, ensure product specifications, and document processes. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with basic tools, blueprints reading, math and computer skills, and the ability to lift 5–30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use and operate basic tools, equipment, & gauges.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Heavy physical effort, lifting 5–30 pounds.
• Ability to read and write English; follow safety and quality instructions.
• Overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines to maintain flow.
• Maintain a safe work environment per 6S principles.
• Ensure products meet specifications and QA on FPI.
• Fill out documentation and labels.
• Handle scrap, rework, and mixed product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
