Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Shelbyville, KY. You will operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines to ensure smooth production and on-time delivery.

You will maintain quality by following procedures, reading blueprints, and accurately documenting outcomes. This role requires basic math, reading English, and OT flexibility, with strong safety adherence and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot and clean machines and equipment to meet service levels.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow 6S principles.
• Ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Fill out all documentation and labels correctly.
• Handle scrap, rework, and mixed product as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines and equipment as needed while maintaining proper flow of product to meet service level goals
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates, exemplifying 6S principals
• Ensure all products meet specifications, maintain quality standards of product following quality assurance on FPI
• Properly fill out all documentation and labels
• Properly handle all scrap, rework, and mixed product
• Perform other duties as assigned
