Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Principal Designer to lead the AgentExchange UX team and shape the product vision for a global B2B marketplace. You will guide design across product, engineering, and marketing and mentor senior designers.

You will drive design systems, craft patterns, produce artifacts, and influence executives while championing accessibility and inclusive design across languages. In this on-site Seattle role, collaborate with cross-functional partners to elevate Salesforce's AI-enabled

Qualifications

12–15+ years of experience designing and delivering software products within cross-functional teams.
Ability to lead senior stakeholders and align design with product strategy.
Deep knowledge of user-centered design, analytics-driven decisions, and AI tools.
Strong leadership in design systems and enterprise-scale design.
Executive-level communication and consensus-building with leadership.

Responsibilities

Set vision for your product area and guide the team through implementation in collaboration with product owners, engineers, and user research teams.
Bridge design, product, engineering, and marketing across multiple disciplines.
Oversee multiple web and mobile features within a broader product surface.
Communicate complex ideas to influence senior leadership using docs, reviews, and presentations.
Produce prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, concepts, and other collateral to communicate research results.
Lead evolution of design systems and teach the design-systems approach to others.
Generate detailed final design specs that guide developers.
Collaborate with developers and quality teams to deliver polished products.
Promote and educate on new interface guidelines and design patterns.
Mentor designers and partner with recruiting to hire diverse talent.
Develop software that is global in reach and accessible for multiple languages.
Champion accessibility and ethical considerations in design.
