Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Product Design Lead for AI Labs to shape design vision across Agentforce-powered products. You will partner with product management, research, and engineering to turn AI capabilities into clear, trustworthy experiences that ship fast.

You will frame problems, align senior leaders on priorities, and mentor designers while delivering coherent design language across the Salesforce platform. A technical degree is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience shipping complex products.
• Autonomy in leading design programs across multiple teams.
• Experience in fast-moving environments (start-up, incubator, or zero-to-one).
• Ability to align cross-functional and senior leaders on priorities and tradeoffs.
• Hands-on experience prototyping in code to accelerate decisions.
• Experience designing AI/ML-powered or data-intensive products with AI UX challenges.
• Strong portfolio showing systems thinking, interaction design, and visual craft.
• Experience mentoring designers (not required to be a formal manager).

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale cross-functional design programs from concept through launch and iteration.
• Frame ambiguous problem spaces and align partners on top priorities and tradeoffs.
• Influence product-level decisions, direction, and roadmaps.
• Prototype in code (HTML/CSS/JS, React) to test ideas and iterate with users.
• Define patterns and interaction models for novel AI and agentive experiences with trust and explainability.
• Unify experiences across AI Labs products with Salesforce/Agentforce platform alignment.
• Create system-level artifacts like experience maps and relationship models.
• Use research and usability data to ground design decisions and uncover opportunities.
• Present design rationale and strategy to cross-functional leaders and stakeholders.
