RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Principal Systems Engineer - Processing, Guidance, & Controls at our Tucson, AZ campus. This on-site role focuses on end-to-end PG&C capabilities for autonomous systems, including guidance, navigation, and control.

The role requires an Engineering degree, 8+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and OO design, with eligibility to obtain an Interim Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field plus extensive relevant experience.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and object-oriented design.

Responsabilités

• Develop, simulate, and evaluate guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for autonomous systems.
• Build and use dynamic system models and simulations to evaluate behavior and reduce development cycles.
• Analyze test data to assess performance and drive engineering improvements.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and test teams to validate complex systems.
• Apply model-based design, simulation, and test data to improve system performance.
