RTX, the world’s leading aerospace and defense company, is hiring a Principal Systems Engineer - Processing, Guidance, & Controls in Tucson, AZ. You will develop, simulate, and validate control and navigation algorithms for complex autonomous systems, working across mechanical, electrical, software, and test teams to ensure mission success.

Qualifications include 8+ years in engineering and hands-on experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and OO design; U.S.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field with 8+ years of experience.
Experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems, navigation sensors, state estimation, or related areas.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and object-oriented design.
Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilités

Develop, simulate, and evaluate control and navigation algorithms for complex autonomous systems; use model-based design, simulation, and test data to improve performance.
Build and use dynamic system models and simulations to evaluate behavior, perform design trades, and reduce test cycles.
Analyze test data to evaluate performance, identify issues, and drive improvements.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and test teams to integrate and validate complex systems.
Experience developing algorithms, system models, simulation tools, controls, signal processing, or performance-analysis solutions for complex products.
