RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer – Processing, Guidance, & Controls in Tucson, AZ to lead the development and validation of control and navigation algorithms for autonomous systems on DoD programs. This onsite role requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, plus the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance and U.S.

citizenship. You will work across mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and test teams to deliver mission-critical solutions.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented design is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, simulate, and evaluate control and navigation algorithms for autonomous systems.
• Build dynamic models and simulations to evaluate behavior and reduce test cycles.
• Analyze test data to assess performance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and test teams to integrate complex systems.
• Develop algorithms, system models, simulation tools, or control solutions for complex products.
